Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo's E3 2015 announcements and their metascore

How bad was Nintendo's E3 2015

Bad 29 22.48%

Really Bad 28 21.71%

Terrible 72 55.81%

Total:129

To be fair, almost everything revealed at E32015 was filler. Star Fox is the exception, and I don't feel it deserves such a low score. It's not great but sub-70 meta is effectively saying the game is terrible in today's review economy. But I don't really care since it's Metacritic, so that's neither here nor there.

You should check out my YouTube channel, The Golden Bolt!  I review all types of video games, both classic and modern, and I also give short flyover reviews of the free games each month on PlayStation Plus to tell you if they're worth downloading.  After all, the games may be free, but your time is valuable!

Did they have anything about FE: Fates last E3?

I do remember E3 was the first time we saw Super Mario Maker which was introduced during their tournament.  Why leave Super Mario Maker out?  Did you just want to make sure the list looks as bad as possible?

There was a trailer for the game, but I think this list is only showing games that were revealed at E3 last year.

However, I'm pretty sure Happy Home Designer was revealed prior to E3.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Removed Happy Home Designer, as that game was revealed in a Nintendo Direct, not E3.

Though even with that game removed, the fact that all of Nintendo's new reveals from last year ended up being average at best, including Star Fox, kinda shows that Nintendo is truly losing control of themselves, and they really need to fix their act up by next gen.

Their credibility is already pretty much destroyed at this point.

There once was a time when Wii U had no gamez. Everybody died. The end.

I should've came up with that one...

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

The bolded confuses me. I know Nintendo has put out some mediocre stuff this past year but it seems everyone is crying foul and claiming their credibility is destroyed or what have you when they've done more right than wrong this gen by a long shot games-wise.

Just realized I'm not gonna be buying a single game from that list in the OP. NX better be something, my backlog wont last forever.

Yep. Something is wrong behind curtains but I'm not 100% of who is responsable. Management has been terrible, so maybe the entire board members went arrogant with the Wii/DS success.

What is starting to bother me is the fact that they had to delay Zelda to push as a big launch title for the successor. So, what if they have another dry launch? We all believe that the last 2 years of the Wii was because they planned a great launch for the Wii U, and in the end, it was terrible.

I also don't have any confidence on them. Nintendo has a lot to prove now. More than ever.

There's nothing brillant here. But I still had my fun with :

- Star Fox Zero, Paper Jam( best battle mechanic in the series, bite me ), Hyrule Warriors Legends :P

+ Metacritic ? Seriously ?!

Agreed! I hate basing everything on Metacritic because I absolutely adore Star Fox Zero. I'm sad that everyone can't enjoy it on the same level as I do :)

I haven't played HWL but Triforce Heroes was a very fun multiplayer Zelda.

What's wrong with metacritic?

Just because every game OP mentioned got destroyed by critics?
