I would be disappointed, but I would buy it for the games.

I already did. It was the OUYA and it was shit and full of always on DRM.

As a collector, i'd say no.

I Love Playstation, but my uncle works at Nintendo.

Over 2/3 of people who took the poll are against it. Which might work out if you wanted to say 2/3 of hardcore gamers are against it, but I don't think the genearal population would be so negative about it.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Only if there is no other option.

I wish this generation was digital only. as it turns out, both the PS4 and XB1 media drives are mediocre at best and the consoles don't meet the new 4k standards. So, they might as well have been discless.

It is near the end of the end....

Really depends on what the console has to offer..

Can't say for sure either way without knowing what it would be

It's hard to say. There's a lot of general population :)

Second hand games are big business and the average internet speed of the non hardcore gamers is a lot lower. Yet they're also less likely to be collectors and more easily swayed by convenience. The only examples we have so far haven't exactly been flying off the shelves, pspgo and ouya.

2/3 of the Core Market and 95% of the Casual market, with a Average speed of 3Mbs the world isn't ready for a 100% online console If i remember well you use something more than a Hundred of Megas to play a Battlefield match for over 45-1 Hour, if the game is 100% Online people would take Days to download it and very few would take the advantages of being 100% online.
