The edition of famitsu has the following playable off-screen footage of Resident evil 5:

Notice the fact that there is a xbox360 and ps3 controller on screen and umbrella chronicals in the background. Everything resident evil related this gen (except for re0 i guess) is on the desk. Got me thinking that the possibility of a wii version just got smaller. Even though I only own a wii I still think it's good that they don't offer us wii owners a dumb-down version of the game. Guess i'll play it on the xbox360 at a mate.

they probably will they have seen that the wii crowd is a big follower of the resident evil franshise.

we just dont have the power to handle the graphics.....but with the control offered from teh wii i think you guys are going to be missing a big part of the game as well

The Wii should get a new version of RE. I predict E3 Capcom will announce it and it will be a Wii exclusive.
