I just hope that will tell them to better release more games on mobile instead of sending them to rot exclusively on the 3DS.

This is why I keep saying Nintendo going 3Rd party is the way forward. Why limit themselves to a small console install base when they're are billions of Android and iOS devices out there.
OT: great to see SE in rude financial help. Unlike capcom they actually try on consoles and on mobile. It doesn't have to be one or the other. They should release more of their exclusively handheld games on mobile too. Same with others like Level 5 and capcom. Mobile is the future, not dedicated handheld gaming consoles. They need to break their major franchises onto our phones.

For the sake of the gaming market they shall not exit the Console Market, otherwise we would only have Sony, Microsoft is acting more on the PC Market than on the console market, recently their biggest announcements was more Pro-PC than Pro-console.

How is that possible? how many smart phone games and browser games do they make?

Their Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest Mobile have over 10 Millions of players (each) in Asia.
I Think that was something like this.

while they could very well make more profits with mobile games I think they realize that the big budget console titles is what gets them the prestigue necessary to stand out from the other mobile game devs
Woah
Smart device revenue has more than quadrupled, and MMO has almost quintupled compared to their 2012 figures .I guess Smartphones really are the new handhelds, you get a big return for a very small investment. Also, it's really impressive how a revision to a game can completely change its luck, which was the case for FFXIV.

We don't need 3 separate consoles. so many people miss out on games because of 3 separate consoles. 2 is more than enough. Nintendo proving they can't handle it either the last few years. They should focus all their resources on making games for mobile, other consoles and pc.

If you ask me, we don't even need two. One is enough. But two is necessary to keep them honest.
