Forums - Gaming - A friend is working in a Tactic-RPG, please take a look

A friend of mine is part of the team behind this game. Brazil doesn't really any tradition in game development and most devs here are going to mobile, so i wanted to show this here to help them. ( Edit: Is this against the rules? hahaha, i should have asked before posting XD)

It is still in alpha and has pretty by the book mechanics (terrain advantages, backstab damage increase, etc). The biggest difference  so far seems to be a willpower points system, which can be used to give temporary boosts, but have consequences once depleted.

Hope you guys like it.

Looks much better than I thought it would.
You can tell the combat is on point, when you watch that video from the site.

as someone on youtube already point out.
The game looks stylised, so the basic white cursor from windows looks out of place.

Tile colour.
Sometimes its light yellow for movement, others its white?
Sometimes when you attack, its a dark yellow, others its red?
Maybe its just because I dont yet understand the differnce of why, but it seems like you should pick a colour and stick with it.

The willpower fail checks that result in that red haze effect on screen... needs a little extra work.

It looks too much like someone just used the paint can in windows paint mode. There has to be a way to make that look slightly better.

Looks great however Id ease up on the bloom

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine

Wow this looks good. Is there a kikstarter campaign ? Id like to suport my fellow Brazilians.

That looks like it has some real potential, sharpen up the effects a bit (and tone some down...) and further balance it and it's something on my radar for sure!

I really dig the backstab effect, the fighting from above, and how you can combo barrels.
The use of terrain is great.

My advice would be to not go overboard with the willpower check stuff.
Solid gameplay from mastering the use of terrain, is more than enough to make for a fantastic trpg.

I'll an eye on it, what platforms?

PC/Mac/Linux but I had to go to the presskit part of the website to find the intel, which is pretty bad (OP should nptify his friend on the matter).
