Saddens me to see star wars battlefront sell that much.

They definitely lost a sales from me from deciding to be a MP only game. But I guess it hasn't hurt them any.

I haven't bought any EA games in a long time, Mirror's edge should break that dry spell.

Oh, nm, bought GW2 for the kids. Haven't heard "EA sports, it's in the game" for the longest time though, do they still do that.

Some modes are completely dead on PC, it seems the only way to get into a match without having to wait around for players is by going into Walker Assault...

THe primary issues were the lack of content and a proper built in server browser, dedicated servers also not being there would have hurt the sales and state on PC.

I don't regret buying the game, to me it was another lesson to learn that I shouldn't buy from EA until their games are very cheap and prove their worth.

 

37k players in total doesn't sound all that amazing wqhen you look at how much they sold. Just goes to show that a game that is reptitive and hollow cannot retain the entire audience for a very long time.

I know someone on here would love to lay blame on the platform but according to other forms of data and of course their total numbers, it's going to be the game and it's client that get the wrap.
