There's been 10 Monster Hunter games on PlayStation platforms and 9 Monster Hunter games on Nintendo Platforms. Recent games have mainly released on Nintendo's systems because no one bought a Vita, and the last home console game was released before the ps4.
I am 100% sure that Resident Evil 7 will be announced at E3!
While I'm very hyped about this announcement, I hope they don't waste one of those games with Monster Hunter. Just give me three non-Monster Hunter games, Capcom.

Monster Hunter brings the cash, and Capcom likes (wants) the cash. Specially after SFV underperformed.
Since SF V is exclusive to PS4. Perhaps SF 5 for X1.

They are pretty high, to be honest, specially after the PS4 beats the WiiU, but it won't be platform exclusive anymore. So it will be good for everyone. |
They did put out MH3U (I think it was ultimate?) on the Wii U, granted it was much later than the origianl releae. I feel like the PS4 has a good shot at getting a home console version of something, even if it comes out a year or two later than the handheld version.

Capcom games always bring the cash, no matter how random they are. Besides, MH is more popular in Japan than other Capcom franchises overseas, so if they're trying to bring them worlwide, they'd do better with certain other IPs.
Im only ok with a new MonHun if its a launch title for NX. The west hasnt even got MHX yet, it doesnt make me want to buy if theres a new one announced.
Would love to hear about Resi 7 and more on Remake. Would also love for the unannounced to be multiplat.
