Final Fantasy does pretty well on PC. Makes me wonder why the newest one won't go to PC right away.

The common reason from publishers is to avoid losing money from piracy. Which makes sense really.

Bwahaha 2.7 Mbps? That's tragic. Wow, I feel bad for you now

Also what's with the upload speeds? Why are they so much lower than the download speeds? In Norway upload and download speed is generally the same.

IDK, uploads here are always much slower. Quickest Down we can get is 100Mbps but quickest Up is only 40Mbps.

That would have some what of a point if the wasnt so many "NEW" high released PC games already that hasnt been cracked.

IT would also be true if the was no such thing as modded consoles...

In the days of the internet anyone that wants to copy a game be it on console or pc will do so.

But no it cant just be that SE wanted to make sure that the versions they promised X1/PS4 release ok, and then work on the DX12 PC version and NX/PS4K versions.. Nope its cos of piracy i tell ya!.

You think modded consoles are on the same level as piracy on PC? lol...

They can still release a PS4K version with better framerate/graphics.... That's the whole point with the Neo lol.

Somehow i think they are going to add more then just better fps/gfx to it.

However, i guess whatever they add they could also release as DLC for the original game.

Anyway another release of FF15 next year for PC/NX/PS4K seems like a sure bet imo.

They won't have to release a separate PS4K version. It will be a patch to the normal game. Anyone who bought FFXV for their PS4, and then upgrade to a PS4K will already have the PS4K version. They won't have to buy a new "PS4K edition"  to get better graphics or whatever. All that will be included with the normal game, they'll just release it as a patch. It will just see which hardware you are playing on (PS4 or PS4K) and it will use the settings corresponding to what hardware you own.

Somehow i dont think SE will put in the extra work for nothing. In otherwords i dont think they will miss the chance to get people to buy again.

Trust me it wont be as simple as your making it look. the will be alot of new effects, shaders, textures etc.

I dont think SE is going to waste time doing all that extra work just to release it as a free patch for PS4 owners when they can charge again for it.

But they aren't allowed to do that....

It's just like if you buy a game for your computer, then you upgrade your computer. You don't have to buy the game again to get the better graphics. You can use the exact same version as you did before.

They aren't allowed to do remastered versions? Everybody else seems to be doing them though...

They (and any other publisher) aren't allowed to force you to buy a new version to access Ps4K features. Both the PS4 and the PS4K versions will be on the same disc.

SE can still make a PS4K version, but they can't sell it standalone as in "even if you bought the PS4 version and you upgraded to a PS4K, you need to buy the PS4K version of the game to get the better graphics!"
