Forums - Nintendo - Shouldn't we be getting more news about incoming NX games?

KT said they were working on the NX, but they didn't mention on what.

No one else is saying they are though, and it's like a year away from being in peoples homes (less than really)....

With so many unknowns about NX, revealing that a game is coming to NX may be enough to guess bits of it.

For example, since DQ XI will come for 3DS and PS4, saying that it could come to NX doesn't say much as there's a very big gap in power between the other two platforms, but if S-E said that a Final Fantasy XV port is in the works, we would know for sure that it's at least on par with the XboxOne.

And while that may not seem much, it completely rules out any possibility of NX being a hybrid machine as no mobile solution comes close to the power of the XboxOne.

Please excuse my bad English.

I'm sure legally the third parties have their hands tied. They can't reveal any games in detail without risking breaking NDA in some form. It's a safe bet for them to wait until the NX is revealed officially in like July/August.

You should check out my YouTube channel, The Golden Bolt!  I review all types of video games, both classic and modern, and I also give short flyover reviews of the free games each month on PlayStation Plus to tell you if they're worth downloading.  After all, the games may be free, but your time is valuable!

OMG! Would you stop beeing impatient all the time?!

They said no. There won't be any at E3. The software isnt ready to be shown.

You don't even know what the system is yet. Geez... give it a rest and wait for the NX event. All will be shown then. Until then just try and forget the NX...

I imagine we will be getting a direct in the not so distant future after E3. Zelda is their biggest budget title and crutial for the NX launch, which is why E3 is being focused around it. After the reveal we will get a few solid software announcements to solidify something that looks like a launch line up, with more hinted to come. At TGS, we could see a lot more announcements as this con will be much closer to the actual release date.

This is how I see it going down anyway.

NX will most likely be getting PS4 and XBOne ports so that's going to be the bulk of 3rd party announcements with a handful of new projects. However, I expect the ports to be releasing concurrently with PS4 and Xbone games, not 2 or 3 year old games. So, ports in this instance simply puts NX on the same level as PS4 and Xbone in terms of software.

It literally can't hurt anything if publishers were to at least confirm NX port - even if they can't show gameplay. Let's hope Nintendo was wise enough to at least let publishers do that @ E3

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

Nintendo won't even show the NX at E3 so we probably won't get info on games before then anyways..

Its hard to announce games for console when we still don't know anything about that console.

True, but the big publishers must know it by now, and announcing the NX version later is going to cause that version to be ignored. They could always say: in developement for Codename NX.

Big publishers cant talk about NX or games for it if they are under NDA, and they are definitely still under NDA.

Actually it doesn't rule out a hybrid system. I have a good idea on how such a system like that would work, I but held off because it would be a speculation post. Which are currently way too plentiful, just think of a client server set up in a cloud processing set up.

The longer people are kept in the dark, the more speculation and discussion will be generated.

...Maybe...
