I'm going to say NX and PS4 Neo be in the 8th Gen.
- PS4 Neo isn't a total new console but instead an upgrade. Think of it as like the Nintendo DSi or PSP Go.
- Wii-U was really a Late 7th Gen machine no matter how much damage control Nintendo could push out. Maybe lump it into Gen 7.5 along with Ouya and the other Android microconsoles.

The NX will be competing with the PS4 and the XBO. Which gen you want to assign it to is irrelevant beyond that.
Imagine if NX is made by a different company, not Nintendo, Sony or MS.
Would that make it 8th gen?

I'm pretty sure when NX hits the market its technology and functionality will be behind PS4K. Apparently That counts as a new generation now. Because new generations always define themselves by being behind the already established technological standard.
