As an outsider to most Call of Duty stuff, can someone explain to me what exactly is so wrong with the game?

Nothing really, people honestly just like to hate on CoD. If they try something new (space = new for CoD) people will get mad even though they claim that CoD never changes and that's why it sucks. Then they complain they want CoD to go back to WW2 or WW1 or whatever, then if that happened people would complain :P

Nothing or everything. Maybe all of it. Maybe none of it.

In the end, everyone will buy it. So who cares?

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

I don't get it, I mean, it looks just as souless and generic as any other CoD game after Black Ops, but I don't think that the CoD community has ever cared about that anyway, what's the problem here?

I'm now filled with determination.

Every since AW the community has been wanting no jetpacks and just want to go back to a new modern warfare or and older war like Vietnam, WW2, WW1 but then there bringing jetpacks and putting it farther in the future so it means they haven't been listening to fans. It's like Metroid Prime FF. We all want Metroid Prime 4 but got something none asked for.

Also, the video should reach a million dislikes by today.

Yes. That and Modern Warfare Remaster being forcefully being used to sell more copies of IW, and you have a coctail perfect for disaster. Add to that the CoD haters will follow the fans and downvote it to oblivion, too.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Deserved or not I call bullshit, that's an insane amount of dislikes/likes given the amount of views the video has

I think it's pretty obvious why. I'm personally not one of the people who disliked the video. In fact i'm working on a video right now to explain why i think it could end up being a fairly decent game.

But the COD Community has been calling out for a classic Call of Duty game (WWI and WWII era) for a while now. I've been seeing petitions and videos all about it ever since ghosts came out. But ever since COD stumbled on the futuristic warfare and boost jumps, they simply never looked back.

In a lot of cases, i feel like the video is being majorly disliked not necessarily because it looks terrible, but rather because fans feel like they aren't being listened to. Because they want that "Classic COD" game that has been talked about.

The reality of it is that one way or another, Call of Duty eventually has to innovate. Content creators for the game just want to see how far they can take it.

I'm still fairly new. I hope nobody flogs me for not being able to hide my links behind text quite yet. But if you have time, check out my YouTube Channel!!!

And there's what people are missing. Most people didn't start asking for a new historic or modern CoD until after AW released. Infinite Warfare has been in development since Ghosts released, so it had already been in development for a year before people started asking for a new historic or modern CoD, too late to change anything. Activision actually did listen to the fans, that's why they're releasing CoD 4 Remastered alongside IW so that the people who want a classic CoD experience have something to play.

Next year is the deciding factor. If they release AW2 instead of a new historic or modern CoD then we'll know they aren't listening to what the fans want.

They had time to change the setting and make a pretty good game. Before Ghost released COD had a one-year dev cycle per game so I f they really wanted to. It's great that they are remaking CoD 4 but they are are forcing fans to pre-order it and won't be sold separately. That's a smart business decision but it still pisses off the consumers.

Infinitive Warfare now has over a million dislikes.
