just look at battlefront vs blops 3.

And that was fckn star wars in episode 7 in the back.

COD will sell more.

Reviews have had a significant effect on core gamer sales..... Ratchet sold more because of good reviews.... and bf could have been selling a lot more if it was a better game than it is

Battlefront was and still is awesome star wars game.

In your opinion, sure. I disagree. It's a pretty average shooter with the Star Wars license painted over it. A large step down from previous Battlefront games. Made extremely casual friendly with microtransactions and DLC in mind and rushed out to catch the Episode 8 buzz.

Titanfall on the other hand was like cod with mechs.  Massive meh especially with the lack of actually players online.  So agreed on that,  I'd be really worried about titanfall 2.

Reading that comment, you've either never played Titanfall or simply played it wrong :) Also, I never have an ounce of trouble finding games online, always thousands of players. Hope that helps. And my worrying about Titanfall 2 has everything to do with EA tainting it, much like they have tainted Battlefield and Battlefront lately.

But Battlefield 4 and battlefront are excellent games.

In your opinion, cool beans.

Battlefield 4 is older than titanfall yet it has a shit ton more players playing it online everyday.  The numbers speak for itself.  Battlefield 4 kept the players interested much longer than titanfall.

The old battlefronts were good in their day but as far as running and gunning goes battlefront is generations ahead of it.  It's a great game that doesn't try too hard.  It focuses on fun.

Want a fun less serious EA shooter?  battlefronts your man.

Want a serious war shooter? Bf4 got you covered

Want a sparsely populated online shooter with bots online?  Titanfall is for you

I enjoy watching you shift goal posts, please do not trip while backpedaling. Titanfall might have less numbers than BF4, doesn't make it deserted or anything :)

Battlefront is a watered down bare bones shooter for casual shooter fans. I guess that's your thing. I prefer shooters with depth. People like simple. People like CoD.

I have zero faith in either of these publishers when dealing with cash cows like CoD and Battlefield.

People on the internet hate CoD since Modern Warfare 2. There was a serious shitstorm for that game because of some stuff like no more dedicated servers. But it had no effect at all on the sales, it sold like hot cakes. Black Ops 2 also got many many many dislikes on YouTube and other platforms - sold like a charm. Now people hate Infinite Warfare on the net. But it doesn't matter, it will still sell like crazy. And better than Battlefield.

That said, I'm personally more into Battlefield 1, because I have been waiting for a game in WW1 for a loooooong time! I really like that scenario. But I don't think IW will be a bad game either. I think both will be great games.

Star Wars is a big mainstream and casual appealing franchise. I doubt many Star Wars fans checked reviews for any battlefront game the bought.

Lets see if it can beat Bieber lool

You misread the part where I said battlefront is the fun casual shooter where bf4 is the serious one.  They don't compete.

Titanfall hasn't got a patch on Bf4. It's not even funny how basic it is compared to it.  64 (no bots) player battles,  much bigger maps,  awesome destruction,  levelution,  Lost of vehicles be it land,  sea or air.

Titanfall only has 6 game modes (wow). Terrible campaign and is basically the definition of a barebones package.

Hopefully EA sort out titanfall 2 because it has a lot of catching up to do with its premium shooter bf4.

Uh, Titanfall has more than 6 modes. These are things you'd know if you were talking about a game you'd actually played as opposed to I guess trying to use Google or something LOL. As if more stuff = better or deeper anyway. I guess if you're super casual guy who constantly needs a carrot to chase, that's great for you. There's no point in discussing the game with you anymore, but feel free to try and Bing up one last pot shot.

I agree, the WW1 setting for me means BF1 wins by default, though I doubt I end up buying either one.
