Nintendo has started to embrace other medias recently. But they haven't quite reached the next stage yet. They are probably planning to right now. Fire emblem as a really cool anime or star fox would be really cool.

But im kinda curious how a live-action Xenoblade Chronicles TV-series would be. And could it work? I think the strongest point for it would be the awsome story it has and all the awsome fantastic locations it has. If Nintendo decided to do a live action  high budget Xenoblade Chronicles TV-series. Who would you want directing and producing it?  I could see it being a bit like game of thones, but ofc much more lighter in tone. More fantasy like.

Would you want this? or would you hate this?

nop, i dont want anyone to ruin the epicness of xenoblade chronicles.

sry for my bad english - it is not my 1st language

I don't think a live action Xenoblade Chronicles show would work. Two problems: 1) the art direction while nice for a game with a clear anime-esque style would translate horribly to live action and 2) what story would you tell besides the one the game already told perfectly? Could make a cool anime but problem 2 still lingers.

Now, Xenoblade Chronicles X's setting has room for multiple games, a TV show, and possibly a film :P . And the art direction would translate better since anime faces aside the art style is more in line with western SciFi and also more realistic. And a live action show could easily run parallel to the games by following an entirely different ark ship; they launched dozens and more than one escaped the initial Ganglion opposition. Following a ship either trying to setup on a planet or searching for one while meeting numerous alien races and learning about mankind's enemjes would make a great show.

"live-action Xenoblade Chronicles TV-series"
I doubt that could be done well... but I guess never say never.

They would need to pull out all the bells and whistles then, like give it a budget equal to a Marvels super hero movie.
Get the same quality work as that with the effects and animations needed.

I dont think it can work as a tv series. Maybe as a movie mini series? like Lord of the rings, being made in 3 parts.

You would need a huge budget to get a movie like that done right.  Its huge risk on investment though.

The original Xenoblade Chronicles would make an amazing TV series! If they can manage to recreate the world of Bionis and Mechonis with all its beauty and make the battles do not feel cheap... it would be so great ^^

Live action? Nah keep it animated, same with all their IPs. Also I'd think they'd bring their bigger franchises to TV first.

a tv series budget is too small... it would end up looking like crap and flopping.
You would need budgets bigger than Game of thrones to make something like that work.

Sounds alot like Battlestar Galactica or Star Trek Voyager.

If done right it could be great, but I doubt that enough money would be invested to make a Xenoblade Chronicles X series a success.

Platforms: Wii U, New 3DS, PS4, PC

currently playing:
 -Yoshi's Wooly World
 -Pokemon X
 -Fire Emblem Fates

Zone: Europe (Germany)

It would be very interesting!

Ner. It's best as a game. Both of the Xenoblade games have really been good because of the exploration and immersivity. You can't get that as much from TV.

Also, I doubt they'd do a high budget one. I seriously doubt this series has been very profitable so far. It pains me to say it but it really doesn't belong on Nintendo. It'd sell way more on the PS4.
