So i'm thinking about getting Ludwig's blade but I heard that it scales with Str and Skl but my build has no Skl. Should I still get it or just keep using the axe?

Make a new hunter. I made one for every build.

from my experience ludwigs sword is better than the axe, considerably actually. but i upgraded my skill, however i would advice you upgrade skill, as it does add more than strength sometimes.

just get a PS4 already... i finished bloodborne.. twice.... and you havent gotten it yet.

Of course, but it's worth it. 

Ludwig's Blade is OP as crap and I recommend it. Built STR as much as you can and after a few Chalice Dungeons, you can start building SKL as well.

I usually don't spend levels on two defensive or offensive stats at the same time. My run with Ludwig's holy blade went OP as expected by only leveling str at first, I'd advise investing in defense until you softcap both and before you start caring about dex.
You can also start a new char afterwards and go arcane with a fire/lightning ludwig's (or both) once you get better, because you'll need to run trough Chalices for the sweet gems.

dont grind, either go to chalice dungons (they are meh, but still better than grinding). or play PvP which can net a lot of blood echos.

or you can play Co-op. help hunters in other worlds, beating the boss will get you some extra blood echos.
