Didn't know you had to have the game connected to the internet to play it back then. ;P

Good news for you women xD you know me though if it aint physical then its a hard sell. Even FFIX on steam i haven't bought and thats one of my all time favourites.

I'd love for FFVIII to release on Ps4. But with each passing day my dream becomes less and less possible... :(

There's got to be some kind of problem with FFVIII for them to take this long.
Either that or they just think it's not worth the hassle. Which would be unfortunate. :(

Square Enix showcased today the PC version of Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster during a livestream, and it has basically confirmed the game’s framerate. Unfortunately, Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster PC will be locked at 30fps.
Why do they keep doing this?

A stupid decision from SE. At least there are modders that can resolve these type of issues. I've been wondering why the ps4 version is also locked at 30 fps. The PS4 could easily do 60 fps with FFX/X-2.

Yes, it's an odd move.
Maybe it's because of the pre-rendered backgrounds or something like that, I don't know.
Hopefully, as you say, there are modders that will take care of that.
