Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

Really looking forward to this. They must have a lot of confidence to release it in November.

Think it will struggle in that time slot.

Looking forward to seeing it again at E3 though, first game was pretty good.

Awesome, this and Dues Ex: Mankind Divided are my two most interested titles this year ...

Got the first one free with ps plus. What an excellent game. Hopefully this has good launch sales because after the first it deserves it

Loved the first Dishonored, definitely looking forward to this one.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

I suppose they are relying on the "the game is targetting a different demographic" mindset.

Perhaps, but I'm struggling to think of an example where that actually works.

I'm not saying that releasing with that mentality is smart though, that is how Square & Micro rationalized Rise of the Tomb Raider's release and it could be argued the game could have benefitted from another release date.

I'm just saying that they may have thought that when they decided to go for a Fall release.
