or how about the golden oldie Timesplitters on PS2 and Xbox? Great games as well.

I don't know which parallel universe you are from but in this universe Timesplitters visual style is teenage. I agree great games even though FPS is not my thing.

Yeah games like ratchet and clank, spyro, crash bandicoot and most Nintendo games are kids games with kids graphics just like cartoons like the Simpsons but you can still enjoy them as an adult.

For me personally I can enjoy the ones I liked as a kid / teenager like crash, spyro, ratchet because of nostalgia but also the fact they are a fun less serious alternative to the games I usually play. It's good to mix it up and play a kids / teenager game from time to time.

I wonder if the OP would call borderlands childish?

It's got the dude bro fps aspect and adult humor, but its cell shaded and cartoonish.

Well honestly it seems like a lot of adults don't. Those types of games certainly don't seem to sell crazy amounts. I think they're fun but they aren't my favorite games.

I believe that's down to the games themselves however, not the art style. It seems pretty apparent by this thread that the vast majortiy CAN like games with "kiddy" looks unlike the OP.

I find it strange that you are unaware of the PC games that are like that.  They exist, believe it or not.  Many of them exist.

Alright, name me one kiddy 3D platformer PC centric game series.

They're not 3D platformers, but Stardew Valley and Undertale were massive hits on Steam.

I see that some posters have a hard time distinguishing 'kiddy' and 'rated E'. Let me help you with examples:

Kirby = kiddy

SSX = NOT kiddy

Not at all, people have a hard time distinguishing your arbritrary definition of a game that "looks kiddy" when you think Minecraft doesn't?

So completely arbitrary based on your personal feelings. That's a difficult standard to judge by.

Jak and Daxter is no more kiddy looking than SSX...
