Is this in the same way the DS is a third pillar and not intended to replace the Gameboy?

I was going to mention that but this is much different. It's a much different situation here. Things are more abstract compared to how concrete the DS was. I know it can be seen as PR talk to calm Wii U and 3DS owners but I think this isn't the same situation as the Gameboy to DS. Just my prediction. Then again your're probably right now that I think about the fact that Zelda is coming to Wii U and NX...we'll just have to wait and see.

Not as if keeping production going is a very hard task for the Wii U. Reggie is probably building those 2 consoles by himself every month.
