Kinda thought it was interesting. You may say what you want. But thats still a 6 years console cycle for the Wii U. Im starting to think NX is maybe not what we think it is.

What will be discontinued first, the WiiU or the PS3? Because it looks like the WiiU won't get more games after Zelda U, and PS3 can't be easily emulated by the PS4 (maybe the PS4K can?). It will be interesting.

If it generates any kind of profit, why not? They're in business for money at the end of the day.

They did say they are still gonna support the Wii U when its out. If Wii U still gets exclusive games when NX (which is not likely) but if.  Then i can see it still making profit.

This doesn't really sound much different than GameCube being discontinued in 2007, after the Wii released in 2006. Were there any noteworthy titles released for GameCube after Wii's launch?

Kimishima and Iwata kept saying NX wouldn't simply replace Wii U and 3DS. This could mean anything for all I know. NX could be a streaming device that plays Wii U, 3DS, and NX games for all we know. We need more NX rumors!

Warranties mean they have to have component availability until 2018, unless they don't plan selling any hardware when the last games hit?

Is this in the same way the DS is a third pillar and not intended to replace the Gameboy?

Ehh, Nintendo is still probably eager to ditch the Wii U soon so they can focus on NX.
