Twelve games a year. Don't Sony and Microsoft get hundreds per year?

Don't know don't care, that's completely irrelevant to whether or not NX will have software droughts.

Then once more...its all about third party. If Sony or Microsoft were having the same problem they would be in deeper shit. If you dont want to experience a drought you have to be able to pick from all parties, not just two. Its not a profitable venture to have people just focused on your inner workings. Look at Sega. Nintendo forced them to make everything first party until they were on floor ready to be devoured by Sony.

I think he meant system sellers per year.

No console only managed 12 games per year except maybe the Atari Jaguar...

Don't give him a scapegoat/fall for his sidetrack bait.

Its not side tracking bait. Just because im revealing that 12 visible games per year is typical of first and second party for a console. Im actually answering the question head on. I guess you just dont like the answer.

Zelda, Pikmin 4 and 3D Mario will be for me more than enuf for geting NX in first year.

I think of 12 games a year as 12 significant retail releases per year.  Non-remaster/re-release retail games that are either going to sell over 1m within a year or get a ton of attention from core gamers.

Yeah, second and first party, but thats normal.

not really, how many million selling games released on Wii U each year?

2012-New Super Mario Bros. U, Nintendo Land

2013-Super Luigi U, Zelda: Wind Waker HD, Wii Party U, Super Mario 3D World

2014-DKC: Tropical Freeze, Mario Kart 8, Hyrule Warriors, Super Smash Bros. U

2015-Mario Party 10, Splatoon, Super Mario Maker, Yoshi's Woolly World

Wii U has had 4 games sell over 1 million in each of the last 3 years, thats 1/3 of what he said.

Then once more read my explanation as to why they don't necessarily need western third partys to avoid droughts.

What question? I never asked any question.

Good games and a reasonable price. That is all.

What Shadow said. The former is pretty much a given, the latter is a mystery.

There is a difference between console sellers and one million sellers. I was responding specifically to console sellers released per year.

A decent price
A bloody Ethernet port
Good launch games and a clear vision
Sensible online features (save, trophy/achievement and profile sync)
Hardware thats clearly a step up from the competition with no room for bullshit "lazy dev" excuses.

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine

Nintendo needs to make Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door Remastered, or at least add Gamecube games to the Eshop. Nothing would make me buy it year 1 though.

I Love Playstation, but my uncle works at Nintendo.

ok and my point remains the same, how many console sellers has Wii U gotten per year? 2-3 at best.
