Zelda at launch. Which it will have, so yeah... I'm already sold. Unless it's something really tragic, which I doubt.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

You know, this is the kind of comments I wish Nintendo reads. If they really care about the consumers and are so pro-consumers as some of the fans claims, I'd like to hear an explanation for all of those that feel dissapointed by their latest moves and how are those moves still pro-consumers.

He said he loved Gamecube but not Wii, im not sure if Nintendo should be listening to people who want them to go back to a console that sold poorly even though it only cost $99 for over half its life.

Don't get me wrong, I get that the Wii sold really well, and it did have it's good games. But do you really know any Nintendo fan that liked the Wii better than the Gamecube? SSB: Melee, WindWaker, TLOZ:TP, Double Dash, Metroid Prime, Super Mario Sunshine, Pikmin, F-Zero GX?

The Gamecube is easily the best poor selling console of all time.

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

A better library with a cheaper price. Way better than the current situation.

Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe

DKCTF didn't move consoles

Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

With my current game backlog being out of hand already, it isn't likely that I'll get an NX in the first year. However, if Nintendo were to release a new F-Zero game, I would be all over it. Otherwise, I'll probably just wait until I make some decent headway on my backlog.

The Wii U needs to get more First Party games.

This.  This more than anything.  I don't regret my purchase as I have enjoyed the library thoroughly and it has games that mix it up.  But the price has been one of the things that, for me, has just royally irritated me for years.  I would bet money or more that Nintendo missed out on millions, probably 5+ million, in sales from their price mismanagement alone.  Cause remember all that positivity in 2014?  How many didn't buy in because they were exactly like I was all the way up until the fall of 2015:  waiting for what they (and anyone with any sense) assumed was an innevitable price drop?  Just one of the many ways Nintendo made dead certain to undermine their own successes this gen.  And I'm just going to say it:  Nintendo were cowards.  They were afraid, afraid to go all in, afraid to bet on their own hand.  They had four aces in 2014 and rather than raise the stakes, they freaking folded.

Alot of people liked Wii better than GC and im sure we can both go on for days listing off great games for both consoles so im not going make this a list war.

You seemed to have missed my point though, its fine that you like GC more than Wii, thats why i didnt reply to you. I replied to Pavolink because he said Nintendo should listen to people like you, which i think is incorrect. As a business, Nintendo should not be following orders from people who prefer their poor selling consoles.

You have to have a shit ton of trust in Nintendo buy their console with no third party in the first year. I wish I could trust them with stable games, which is why I havent had a Nintendo console since the GC. The quality of the GC library wasnt great at all.

Actually, thinking about this more. I'm not sure I agree with that. Wii sales fell off a cliff after peaking in it's second full year. Then, Nintendo tried to recreate the success of the Wii by appealing to the people who bought it. By releasing the Wii U...

I'd argue that right now, it's far more important for Nintendo to be going after core gamers like myself than to be chasing the same people who bought the Wii. But have since left them for mobile games.
