It's more exhausting too, as as Nintendo fan you almost always feel like you're "waiting" for something. Sure you get a nice game or two here and there, but most of the time, it's about waiting for the next thing to drop. Nintendo's ridiculous secrecy I think really does not do them many favors. I mean just looking at it in hindsight, does something like Yoshi's Wooly World need to be so secretive as if some government secret on UFOs? What's wrong with just throwing your fans a bone now and again and showing them some damn games? Keeping them in the loop? Nintendo not only mis-markets their games, it's like they go above and beyond out of their way to keep their own fans from seeing their games, lol. It's really a bizarre corporate culture almost designed to suck all the fun/anticipation out of it. The fact of the matter is it's not like Sony/MS are really copying anything Nintendo does anymore anyway, you can fucking relax Nintendo, Sony is not making Nathan Drake's Wooly World. Would it kill you guys to be more pro-consumer in how you behave and communicate to your own fanbase? Nintendo just seems to be of the three the one that goes furthest out of the way to keep their own fans in the dark and things like yanking Youtube fan videos and all that ... it's just like c'mon Nintendo. It's a really petty way to run a global business.

I get that some of the hardcore and even casual Nintendo fans are tired of tolerating these things. If you guys feel that way, it's understandable. I don't know, honestly, what to tell you since none of us are in the board rooms or the developers' chairs knowing the ins and outs of Nintendo. I just don't feel the same way you guys feel. It honestly doesn't build up inside of me because I probably don't think too hard on these things. Would I be disappointed? Sure, but I just move on because in the end, it's the end product I'll have to worry about. Did I have fun playing their games? What did I gain from these games? Even up till now, I believe they've done more good than bad, even through this gen. Do I need 24/7 news on Nintendo? No. Do I have to pay attention and buy every game they release? No. Have I bought games they've developed and enjoyed them? Yeah. Do I wish they market more? I guess, at least for those who are not aware of their products. Is their silence irritating? Not really since life is more than just video games. Not trying to put down or aside your comments here, but some just think differently in this situation. Nintendo has done whatever they could do to attract gamers from hardcore to casual to the Wii U and 3DS. It's not working well unfortunately, especially for Wii U. Doesn't affect much of my overall view of Nintendo, the Wii U, or 3DS.
