Nov (typical release of consoles) to March is 5 months. But if we are specifically talking about Dec at 11:59PM to whenever the exact date the NX releases I would argue really only Nintendo knows.

I would also argue a longer wait is only in being able to purchase the console. They probably wanted to make sure a big budgeted game from them came first, and they may know for one reason or another that Zelda U won't be ready until March. Third parties crapping on them and making extremely cut up ports is a pretty big reason the first year of Wii U was so bad. It's sort of a way to remedy that.

November to March is 4 months; 1 to december, 2 to Jan, 3 to Feb, 4 to March.

And if Zelda U can't be ready until next March, the entire dev team should be fired for utter incompetence.

I count November too. Usually it doesn't come at the end, so Nov is 1 month, Dec is 2 months, Jan is 3, Feb is 4, and March is 5. I was counting beginning Nov to end March. But that's really besides the point.

*edit* Sorry, as for whether they should be fired, they have pretty much made the single best looking game on Wii U hands down. Even though it's ported to the NX now, the Wii U version will still look amazing I'm sure. From the tiniest footage we seen to the full blown Wii U reveal E3 I'm sure this will be the case. The game will be better than most can imagine. That talent you do not throw away. Maybe stricter timelimits sure... But that's more managements call.

I'm here, but I feel like a winner tbh since our reasonings were correct and they were aiming for a 2016 release and it only didn't happen cause AMD or some other issue with the hardware, not because of anything the 2017ers said.

I feel like a winner too - more of a laugh to be among the crows for some reason!

That's wrong though. By that logic, it is two days until tomorrow because today counts.

Huh? If it's the 1st and you have an appointment on the 3rd you do have to live through two whole days until it's the third. You can also say my appointment's in 3 days.

Yes, because you don't count the 1st, only the second and third.

Same as you don't count November, you count Dec/Jan/Feb/Mar. 4 Months.

But you WOULD have to go through the month of Nov.... If you were counting from the first to the first you are right.

Or from the 30th to the 30th, or any specific date therein. 1st November to 31st March would be 5 months. BUT by the same token, 30th Nov to 1st March would be only THREE months. 4 is the general amount.

I'd say Curl-6 is correct. November 18th (Wii U launch) to March 18th is 4 months apart, and even if the NX launches on the 31st of March it's still gonna be 4 months after rounding. I mean you're not completely wrong to say 5 months if NX launches after the 18th but 4 months is just more accurate.

That's why I explained I went from Nov 1st to Mar 31st.

That's why I gave my frame of time. Anyways, semantics. As I said before it doesn't really matter.
