They offered many great games on Wii U. Was it enough? I don't think so. 4-5 more big games would have been welcome. Hope they are trying to rectify the shot by launching their new console in 2017.

Yes.

I'm disappointed in the lack of a truly exclusive Zelda game (and the weird absence of a proper Animal Crossing) but I've had no shortage of excellent games to play outside of that. I think I've picked up about 25-30 games for the machine (not counting downloads) and there are at least four more still on my to-buy list (Splatoon, Star Fox, TMS#FE, Paper Mario), plus possibly Zelda unless I opt for the NX version.

I think everyone knows im not satisfied, but im hard to impress.

Not at all, 2016 on WiiU is à joke, they should be ashemed to say that and then leave thé console like that this year.

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

I can't speak for other Wii U owners, but I'm satisfied.

Zelda was the last thing that might have made me satisfied. This thing is now officially just a Pikmin machine with a few other mildly fun diversions.

He just stated again that the NX isn't replacing either the Wii U or 3DS. With Zelda being ported to the NX, I'm even more curious what the hell it is if it isn't replacing the Wii U or 3Ds.

No, he's full of shit. Wii U is dead. And NX will most certainly be replacing it.

As for satisfied? I would have been, if Zelda had been delievered as promised. At this point, they might as well just cancel the Wii U version. There is zero point in pulling this TP shit again, especially when NX is almost guaranteed to have a strong launch window from Nintendo themselves, WITHOUT tacking on a port of a Wii U game.

Without Zelda, no, I would have to say I am not a satisfied Wii U owner on the whole.  I have gotten enjoyment out of it, but it's had too many good games that COULD have been great if they hadn't changed or needlessly taken out/watered down certain elements (Pikmin/Mario Kart/Smash Bros). It's had many decent, fun games, but IMO nothing amazing. Nothing that I can point to and say "THIS, THIS is the reason to own this console."

I feel Zelda should have been that. Instead, they'd rather pretend it's an NX launch game, and leave long-time Wii U owners like myself with foreseeably nothing of substance for the remainder of 2016. I honestly have to wonder, since "satisfing Wii U owners" were originally Iwata's words, if he were still alive, would he have signed off and this course of action? I'd like to think not.

I like Nintendo, but this bitter taste in my mouth is going to remain.

I'm definitely not a satisfied WiiU owner, Mario Kart 8 is god damn amazing but as soon as the next Mario Kart comes out I have no problem forgetting the WiiU ever existed.

Wont be buying an NX, Nintendo are finished as a console manufacture, so disappointed in them, hope NX is a success but i wont be getting one.

I'm still getting a lot out of the Wii U and so are the kids. I don't want it to be abandoned yet. I will be very annoyed if they just cut off online support and move on.

So, no, I'm not satisfied yet.
