I don't know, I don't have a WiiU. I almost buy one to play Splatoon, but I decided to wait for the next thing, and I can't say I was wrong. My 3DS kept me pretty busy on its own.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

No, I'm pretty much convinced that the Wii U will end up being the worst console I have ever owned.  That being said, I still don't regret my purchase.

I don't regret getting the WiiU for the many hours of fun I had with it, so you could say I'm satisfied. However, out of the many games I was hoping to get before Nintendo abandons it (new 3D platformer, Mario Strikers, F-Zero, Pokemon Stadium or Snap sequel, Mario Kart battle mode DLC, more N64 games on VC) I got exactly ZERO and yes, that pisses me off a little. Especially because there would have been capacities, they just decided to use them on Mario Tennis and Amiibo Festival.

I think objectively it's a "No", too. There are just too many major franchises that didn't get a game on WiiU and Zelda will be released so late that it hardly can be considered support for WiiU anymore.

I would have been if we had a console exclusive Zelda game since that is one of the biggest reasons for me to buy a Nintendo console. I am gonna delay my purchase on the NX and probably buy it only after smash bros comes out and based on sales since that will determine the support the console is gonna get from Nintendo apparently.

I'll be buying all of one Wii U game released in 2016, infact I already bought it and I find it's not even worth the asking price. While I'm overall satisfied with my Wii U, no one can say their support post 2015 is even remotely close to adequate. Honestly of the very few Wii U games this year, not a single one is worth it's initial pricetag.

It varies by person but I am satisfied with it, yes

With that said, not really. Looking at wiki, Wii U will be getting less Nintendo published games than N64, GC, and Wii. This is even worse if you consider the number of Nintendo published games developed or co-developed by others. This number seems to have grown on Wii U

I am satisfied, but I can't say I'm happy with the zelda u delay.

I'm not too selfish and ignorant. I got a lot out of Wii U but a business has to make decisions to keep them in business. We don't know their reasoning behind Nintendo's strategies but if they believe this was the right thing to do, I'll go with it. I'd rather Nintendo make bank on NX and succeed and eventually get me Zelda U than them continuing going down the road of Wii U failure. Wii U isn't gonna outsell GameCube or even Vita. It's a poor console saleswise. It has to die for Nintendo's sake and sub-sequentially our sake as well.

Exactly. Totally agreed. With that said, how well has Nintendo kept their promise of satisfying Wii U owners considering the quote I put in the OP was stated last month of this year?

It's a very relative subject. For me, 2D Mario, 3D Mario, Smash, Tons of Zelda spinoffs/ports, Mario Kart, Pokken, Mario Maker, Bayonetta, Splatoon, Pikmin 3, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Yoshi Wooly World, Kirby Rainbow Curse, Captain Toad... were enough to satisfy me. Now, there are those who are more into gaming than even I am and they feel that they were cheated but I don't see how. We got the heavy hitters that we usually get and we've got Paper Mario and Shin Megami X FE on the way. But as a whole, the loss of 3rd parties may have some to believe that the Wii U hasn't delivered and in some aspects, it hasn't delivered. But For me, I think they kept their promise. I got good, quality games and I had enough to satisfy me.

I am satisfied with my Wii U.

I bought my Wii U solely for Smash, so I'm definitely satisfied in that regard.

I know if I was a diehard Zelda fan, I'd probably be extremely mad right now.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."
