Forums - Nintendo - So what will Nintendo show at E3 besides Legend Of Zelda being that the NX will NOT be there.

http://www.gamespot.com/articles/nintendo-says-nx-will-not-make-an-appearance-at-e3/1100-6439253/

Went ahead and pasted the link right at the beginning. Anyways, the title pretty much says it all. This is a VERY strange move from Nintendo, and really hints that the NX will either be shown in a direct.... or possibly on stage at the Tokyo Game Show.... I don't know. I'm just going to let Nintendo do their thing as I spent the last year and a half battling over the last guess I had about the NX. But basically, being that NX will not make an appearance, what do you think they'll show?

NX games?..... I don't really see how and not give away a lot about the system (like power, what the gimmick possibly is, ect).

Wii U and 3DS games?... Could be, they do need a new holiday 2016 game now that Zelda is delayed. There is going to be hell to pay with Wii U owners.

And while we're at it, do you think there even WILL be a big holiday 2016 game? Will Color Splash be the thing released this holiday?

What I'm expecting is they will show a Metroid. This will pretty much be the only thing that will help extinguish even a bit of the flames of hatred that is being spread.

A lemonade stand?

It's kinda funny how last year everyone was pissed that Zelda wasn't going to be at E3, and this year everyone is pissed that Zelda is going to be the only thing at E3.

I agree no NX at E3 sucks, but it's just funny to think of where we were at this time last year.

Mostly 3DS stuff I think. Monster Hunter. Dragon Quest XI maybe. 3DS price cut announcement. From their fiscal statement their plan for this fiscal year is basically to try and revitalize the 3DS.

Pokemon Sun/Moon 20th anniversary stuff. Maybe (gulp) they can show smartphone games too.

Oh and maybe Minecraft w/Nintendo DLC if Microsoft lets them use that as a main part of their show.

To be honest I don't think Nintendo really gives a shit about this year. They just want to get out of this year in one piece, E3 is not a big concern to them.

Nintendo had no issue with stinking up the joint for E3 last year either.

If they announce any new games for the Wii U it will be very small projects.
Here is Mario Picross U or Tetris U or AC Amiibo Festival 2!

I'm prepared for a huge disappointment at E3 this year. Should soften the blow a litte.

Platforms: Wii U, New 3DS, PS4, PC

currently playing:
 -Yoshi's Wooly World
 -Pokemon X
 -Fire Emblem Fates

I could see a big Wii U price cut too. I definitely think they will need it.

Wouldn't be surprised if they skip an E3 showing tbh, it's clear that the will be a ND like event for NX much later this year probably Q4.

Pokémon Sun & Moon bruh, it's BIG

Oh it will definitely be a direct.

Well it can only get better than last year's show, even if they only show Zelda U.

JUST TRYING TO BE OPTIMISTIC HERE
