Nintendo please make it happen (the songs are okayish)

Around the Network

Honestly, I don't know of any other videogame composer that could do a similar job with Metroid as Yamamoto did. I mean, I know tons of great composers, but non of them has the style that needs this franchise. And the ones I know that would fit Metroid... they are simply not as good as Yamamoto. So, let's keep things as they are please xD

Absolutely not. Metroid music isn't just about 'sound', it's also about a memorable melody.

Absolutely not. Sure, though two tracks are great, as are many of XCX's themes, but it only takes one piece of garbage like this

to destroy the atmosphere completely, and a strong and pervasive atmosphere is one of the cornerstones of Metroid as a series.

I agree that this track is horrible, but Sawano himself admitted he got a lot of freedom for the soundtrack of XCX. Nintendo would never allow this track to be included in a Metroid game. I am just wondering if Sawano is able to make a Metroid OST with the guidance of Nintendo, because he definitely knows how to create a Sci-fi atmosphere based on the tracks I showed.

It's not like Sawano is legally required to put "Ugh Yeah"s and hip hop in all of his sountracks.

I'm still skeptical enough to rather not risk it. Another slip-up like that would be far more damaging to Metroid than it was to XCX.

Yeah just like how I would not want Yasunori Mitsuda to compose for anymore xeno games after hearing this

This would definitely ruin the atmosphere
