I still don't see why anyone would care. AAA/Indie games on console/PC are not slowing down, if anything, they're increasing (as are mobile games). Just like economy vehicles vs luxury, or fine dining vs fast food, one does not cancel out the other.
The casual realm is far bigger than the dedicated hardcore market that it easily trumps both the console and PC markets, as far as things go the mobile market is going to be like this until the bubble pops. I don't think it's sad though because I knew from the beginning that the casual market will always outnumber the dedicated, this planet just has way more people who just want simple things in life, even simpler and much cheaper than a console.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
