I mean what does that have to do with what we're talking about? You said you don't see why anyone would care. To which I said that an increasing amount of funds that would normally go to producing ambitious console games, are now going to producing shallow money grab F2P games on mobile.

I still don't see why anyone would care.  AAA/Indie games on console/PC are not slowing down, if anything, they're increasing (as are mobile games).  Just like economy vehicles vs luxury, or fine dining vs fast food, one does not cancel out the other.
