I know this seems a little bit crazy, but at the same time, it seems logical to me. There is an investors meeting next week, Wednesday the 27th, and it will be the last one prior to E3. To me, this means that they have to reveal something to appease their investors. It honestly should be a full reveal with specs and details so that investors know what they are getting before the world finds out at E3. However, we all know that Nintendo is a company of mystery and they do not like to show their hand too soon.

So with that, what do you think that we will learn next week? Personally, I think that we may find out more than maybe we expect. Since this is that final shareholders meeting before E3 I expect them to at least go over roughly what the NX is, what it does, and whether there is a handheld component to it. If we are lucky, specs will leak, if we are REALLY lucky, pictures will leak. What do you think? Will we learn anything new?

Ooooh! Just thought: Will they unveil the console's REAL name?

Nintendo has to say SOMETHING about NX next week. They can hide their agenda from the general public but they can't hide it from investors who want to know why they should keep investing in Nintendo. Sony and Microsoft also held pre-press conferences for their consoles. I also expect Nintendo to do the same later this month or in mid to late may.

They'll have to say something next week I would think, but I doubt some kind of reveal, that will likely be kept for E3.

Maybe the only thing Nintendo is going to say about the NX is that the reveal will be some time later.

If Nintendo wanted to announce the new console, they would hype the announcement (or at least make people know things about the NX are about to be revealed). They will mention they have new hardware incoming, and that will be the end of it.

It is a site that I have never heard of, but their investor's meeting really is the 27th and there are also other speculation articles as well as youtube videos about this very thing. You can google Nintendo Investor's Meeting April 27th and you will find plenty. I just posted it to show that there is a vein of thought already out there.
