It was the PS4's code name. Or apparently it was the name Sony was playing with to match the Vita.

thats not what he meant, Yoshida was talking about if the future PS Hardware will be called PS5.

- BC forever 
- new better hardware every 4 years
- rebranding PS4 to PlayStation (PS) eventually 

They probably will only offer streaming PS games as an option eventually, along Digital and Disc
