well i like it but the dual screen is really confusin. It doesnt make the game any better, just different.

Not really. This time, the alternative routes are mostly found through specific events that were unavailable on your first playthrough, and they all lead to only bonus levels that take like 2 minutes to be done, and are nothing special, really (there is, however, one alternate route with a full-blown mission coming from Sector Beta). You can tell they just made up the 8 bonus levels as quickly as they could during development to try and make the game feel more like a complete Star Fox experience. It's still fun to unlock them all and collect all the medals, but it's nowhere near as awesome as finding all the levels and different paths (and full ending!) in Star Fox 64... and because there are only 2 paths that go exclusively through awesome, full-blown levels, the replayability is a bit hampered. At first I was on the fence about whether Zero could overtake 64 as my favorite Star Fox, but now I'm 100% sure it's not on the same level. Still an awesome game, though. |
Yeah, exactly my thougths. Also, I've beaten the arcade mode through 6 different paths but it seems like each level is its own thing. They don't trigger an alternate ending like SF64. That was dissapointing. Or am I missing something? XD

Oh, thanks for clarifying, I know what to expect now =)
Still having a lot of fun, and still a great gameplay experience (hope the next improves this and does not flirt with experiments like Adventures and Assault =P ).

I think it was Killscreen who lowered it to 69 since it was their latest review which did it ...
Yeah, it may stay in the 60s unless there are more good reviews coming in.
The Thread creator abandoned the thread. Can a mod modify the title of the OP with the updated scores? There have been days since it changed and its still with the old scores.
I noticed that the thread creator has been posting in other threads but not here, so if he is not willing to change the title, either a mod change it or it might as well lock it.

It's changed. Now you can find something better to do with your time.

Dont create threads if you are going to get upset when people remembers you to update it.
If you are not pleased with the score that the game received, next time create the review thread AFTER the embargo.
Just sayin

Wasn't upset, it's just interesting that you care so much about the score of a game you don't own and never will. Very interesting (and transparent). And the word you're looking for is remind, not remembers.
I suggest a hobby though. Knitting is pretty fun.
P.S. The score is alright with me. I give the game a 7/10.
This game is probably going to stain Platinum Games record just like The Legend of Korra ...
It's amusing how Star Fox Guard did better with the reviewers in spite of the fact that it's an irrelevant tower defense spin-off game ...
