Play Overwatch® FREE May 5–9 During the Open Beta

Prepare to clash on the battlefields of tomorrow and take your place in the ranks of Overwatch®—a legendary force of soldiers, scientists, adventurers, and oddities—in the Open Beta! Assemble your friends and try out the ultimate team-based shooter for FREE May 5–9 on PC, PlayStation® 4, and Xbox One. 

 

 

The Overwatch Open Beta will be available May 5–9 on PC, PlayStation® 4, and Xbox One! Players who have pre-purchased or pre-ordered Overwatch by April 29 will be eligible for early access starting May 3. 

  • EARLY ACCESS: The early access portion of the Open Beta will begin on all supported platforms May 2 at 4:00 p.m. PDT (11:00 p.m. UTC). An early access key will be required to play—click here for details.

 

  • ALL ACCESS: The all access portion of the Open Beta will begin on all supported platforms May 4 at 4:00 p.m. PDT (11:00 p.m.UTC). All players will be able to play for FREE during this period; no sign-up or code required.

 

The Open Beta will conclude in all regions for all players on Monday, May 9 at 10:00 a.m. PDT (5:00 p.m. UTC).

Sweet! Still very much on the fence with this one. Hopefully the beta (really demo) will push me over one side or the other.

I've been looking forward to this and even though I didn't get into the PC beta I'm in the mood for a battle arena game and with this battleborn and Paragon all on the radar its really becoming a hard choice of which game to go with, Hopefully the few games of beta will clear things up :)

That's right after Battleborn launches, which shot up to a day one purchase for me thanks to the beta. I guess I will rent this one down the line.

Argh, I missed the Battleborn beta/demo! It ends today and I'm stuck at work. 

Although, to be honest, I'm not totally comfortable with MOBAs in general, which makes me a little bearish on Battleborn and Paragon. Even Overwatch seems to have a little MOBA in it.

I don't know. After the Doom (2016) beta, I'm just really craving an old-school arena shooter. Maybe my best bet is the new Unreal, even if it's only in pre-alpha.

Might try it. I just hope it doesn't have any MOBA components, since that really drives me off it.
