Anyway, this discussion has run its course. There's really only three types of replies, anyway. Those who feel it's defined by your genitalia, those who feel it's defined by how you identify yourself, and those who say "make a third bathroom".

Were you expecting a fourth answer of some sort?

Do I look like the kind of guy that has a plan? I just post and react!

Post OP is ok, Pre OP isn't.
Basically you need to have skin in the game, or else it devolves to people just using whats most convenient at the time.

Ideally that also fixes most of the social stigma. If you were born a man, but spend 10 grand on surgery (and just as much on psychiatrist) then I say welcome to the female bathroom. You're treated by society as a female at that point after all.

Compare it to a black lives matter rally.
A darker skinned Latino who is socially treated as black, will probably be a more effective speaker than a Swedish lady who is not.

I would - because I have actually so often heard women who went to the mens room for some reason being astonished and praising them for how clean they are in comparison to the ladies toilets. I don't want those filthy women to ruin my clean mens toilets!

Is it just me knowing strange women, or have others experienced the same? (women praising the mens rooms for being clean and the waiting lines being much shorter)

Wtf! I have always assumed womens bathrooms were much cleaner than men's! Now I have to ask around.

It's not so much about women bathrooms, it's about public womens toilets specifically. And there's actually a quite logical reason for public women's toilets being filthier than men's:

Unlike men, who can proudly piss standing and just use a urinal, women have to use a regular toilet and sit down. But as soon as the toilet seat becomes just a little dirty, women find it disgusting and do not want to sit down on the toilet seat anymore. So instead, they're trying very awkward positions to avoid actually touching the toilet seat at all. In these awkward positions, their ass is always inevitably several inches above the toilet seat, increasing the risk of them spraying their feces all over the place. And a very popular position/strategy is to stand with their dirty shoes ON the toilet seat, making the toilet seat even more dirty.

Some women have become so accustomed to consider toilet seats in public womens toilets disgusting that they won't sit down even if it looks clean at first sight, so they practically never sit down in public womens toilets. Ironically as it is, it is exactly these women who are the most picky about filthy toilet seats who are most guilty of them being filthy in the first place.

I think the only solution is to dig a ditch in the ground and let everyone shit in it.

Women spend far more time in the restroom and go to the restroom with greater frequency than men, so yes it DOES matter just from a pratical standpoint. As a man I don't want to be sharing a restroom with a bunch of of 'women' that will create longer lines and wait tims. And if I was a father I sure as hell woulnt want my wife or daughter going in to the same restroom men go in to

You won't be in the shitter with women. That's the whole point. That person is a man in all ways but testes. The mentality is that of a man and would use the restroom in a similar fashion.

I am a father and if a person who changed themselves to a women is going in the same bathroom as her then so what. Again that person is a woman on the inside and frankly just as much as a danger to my daughter as any other person.

I really dislike this complete ignorant thought that you are somehow more in danger from someone who is gay / transgender than any other random person. That is just ... well frankly idiotic.

Your fictional daughter has a much higher chance of a straight white male grabing her on the way to the bathroom and raping her in the male bathroom.

Women have smaller bladders, they use the bathroom more frequently unrelated to doping their makeup. That is a big reason for longer lines at womens bathrooms.

And no, that person is not a woman on "the inside" that person is mentally ill on the inside and I don't want a mentall ill man that thinks they are a woman near my daughter. And yes men are more dangerous than women and mentally ill men are even more dangerous than non ill men, so no, I do not want my daughter exposed to that

I'd say transgender people should have the right to enter the bathroom with the gender they identify with.

And I say no and I told you exactly why not, to which you had no response to.

By request of d21lewis, I'm locking this thread. The discussion has indeed run its course, and it doesn't seem to be heading somewhere good.
