This is a weird observation, but the voice acting for Slippy's uncle is really, really good. Actually, most of the VA in this game is really good from what I've heard, and whatever is not is merely forgettable rather than mediocre or bad, and that just applies to fodder characters with throw away lines.

It still has the same awkward gaps of silence that XCX had, but that's more an issue of weak sound design. This is a VERY good sign if you're worried about Zelda, and it makes it even more of a shame that Zero's story isn't more involved than it is, because they have the voices and dialog quality for it down already.

Addressing the OP, Guard looks as unremarkable as when it was first revealed, but it's a only a $15 game so I guess it doesn't really matter.
