while I can easily afford the price, I value my money enough that I consider the value of my entertainment investments, especially when there are lots of alternatives. To me the risk and uncertainty of a split audience platform which I think is an aweful situation is enough to hold off buying till they clear up what is happening. I have my ps3/360/xbone/PC so it isn't like it is a necessary purchase and at this point in the gen they probably only have till E3 to clear it up, after that my next buy point is not till june next year by which time I expect the purchase will need to compete with the NX.

I find all his reflections to be spot on, specially the one concerning splitting the current userbase with the PS4K one.

I expect the PS4K to be the slim version of the current PS4 but capable of displaying 4K media content. Also, I expect it to launch late last year and take advantage of the newer manufacturing processes to reduce the power consumption and make the console smaller.
