The XBox brand has the worst case of identity crisis I have ever seen, and they are spreading their resources too thin. They will never take over gaming in any form.

Don't say that... People said the same thing years ago, then the X360 happened...

Or they're just retreating from consoles and promoting a digital PC platform that can use their console (which there is less and less reason to buy) as a channel to deliver content that is already in your house anyway if you have a PC

What a dainty little idea. Full of laughable analogy and blustery hoo-blah. The Quantum Break PC port is clearly the best port ever. Check mate! No time for checks! All devs, especially indies, love working with them! Check mate! Again! They are clearly winning the console race. Not regressing at all from the previous gen. This is because they have the best vision. And the best hardware. Very brilliant strategy. Flawless execution. Check-check mate! Everybody knows UWP is the best, excuse me, ONLY place to play on PC if you're serious about your expensive rig. Check-check-check mate! Flip the board! Slap you in the face! Don't even look at me! I will slap you again! Load of crap.

Sorry but Microsoft are playing chicken crossing a motorway, and are gonna up in a bargain bucket. Sony are playing in league of there own, and Nintendo are preparing there Doomsday device for world domination, If Microsoft ever win gamers will be fucked a world without Sony or Nintendo is world with no creativity and brand new immersive world's.

What? We see what happens when thousands of people start making games, Steam asset flip shovelware is what we see. I don't know how every Xb one being a dev kit is actually good for gamers. It's good for budding game developers I suppose, but don;t expect masses of good games to come from it.
