No surprise, Angry Joe sucks at most games I used to watch him play. All he's good for is bitch.

The only thing that seems to be "sucking" is your ability to just accept the lower than anticipated review scores for QB

''bad cover system''.... its not a cover based shooter.

Fucking amateurs. This guy and the clown over at gamespot. I wonder if they got similar idiots to review Quantum Break at sites like Time and Guardian which also gave it 4/10.

But it is a core gameplay element. People play third person games this way, which is why Bioware made Mass Effect 2 more of a TPS than RPG. People rely on their guns because it's just as effective on chaining together abilities/mechanics.

He had some good points, some lacking points, and a whole lot of whining in the middle.

Then again - I'd say the same about this thread. It has some good points, some lacking points - and a whole lot of whining about people not being "good enough" - thus trying to discount their reviews.

If you suck at playing a game, your ability/judgement of its gameplay is kinda null or biased ain't it?

TPS doesn't mean cover system. Quantum Break doesn't play like Gears.

What you saying is that, because Halo and COD are FPSs they're played the same.

Oh no! Critics suck at a sucky game! Who cares?

That may one of the saddest comments I've seen to date. That is along the lines of if you can't win a race -you can't judge the race. If you can't pitch a no hitter - you can't judge if someone is a good pitcher or not.

A good point is a good point. You aren't even trying to argue against their points. You are trying to slander them and by virtue of doing that - discredit anything they are saying.

It is a very cheap tactic. Infact.. hold on I have to google which version of irony this is. Yes I believe this is situational Irony. You attempt to discount peoples opinion believing them to be "biased" yet in doing so - and without trying to count any of their points you show your self to be far more biased than any of the reviews.

Anyone with an english major feel free to see if I got that right or not.

I have an English major and your criticism sucks, period. XD

Reviewers are supposed to criticise a game based on their experience. Just like me and you.

A better analogy in this case would be, a newb golf player given a high quality set of iron to play golf to play, then asked to describe its quality. Would you trust his/her judgement, if you know they're bad/have no experience at the game?

Thanks for your concern!

It is paradoxical, yet true, to say, that the reviewers we know, the more ignorant they are in the absolute sense, for it is only through enlightenment that we become conscious of their reviews. To become precisely one of the most gratifying results of intellectual evolution is the continuous opening up of new and greater ways to get information on games.
