Forums - Gaming - How can anyone dissmiss the graphics of FF15? Not the devolopers but your Consoles are too weak for this game #Reality

I'm just going to wait for the final results before confirming my thoughts about this game but from the demos the game looks beautiful and fantastic, and the frame rate issue never bothers me unless its a FPS. I'm not that picky as long as I'm having fun. =)

To be honest, I prefer they dumb down the graphics so that the game can run perfectly.Yeah, performance is far more important than graphics.

Having said that, the game DOES looks stunning. One of the best if not the best looking games so far

The weird thing to me is that this is what FF is known for.  As far back as I can recall the FF series generally sets the standard for what the graphical and performance output for a machine can be.  The race has certainly gotten tighter in more recent gens, but the fact that people are taking a hastily thrown together demo and declaring it as the be all end all of their expectation for the game is quite silly.

Yeah, I completely agree.FF was sinonimous of best graphic and console performance, especially in the 5th gen.Hope they can reclaim that throne. But as you said, people are complaining about a demo, where the main game still have 5 months to release. But thats the internet for you.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Now, I don't think the demos we've gotten so far are really a good indicator of how the final game will look, since the game is still pretty far away.

However, bad AA, in my opinion, totally ruins a game visually. It doesn't matter how good your textures or lighting is if everything is surrounded by sharp, pixelated lines.

Also, blaming the console makers because a developer has trouble maintaining performance that other devs don't have an issue with is weird thing to suggest.

no other game has good graphics these

Eeehhh...that's debatable. It might be the best looking open world game, though a case could certainly be made for the Witcher 3. But it's not anywhere near the best looking game this gen.

The Order 1886, Quantum Break, and Uncharted 4 are all much better looking, and probably all more technically demanding.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Hahahaha! Wow... people resort to everything to defend it.

Yes, i'm sure the Witcher 3 was just a mirage. It's all the console's fault.

Sorry, not buying into that.

No offense, but you're getting way too emotionally invested in this if seeing people criticize a video game upsets you this much.
Calling something a "masterpiece" before its even out also suggests you need to take a step back.

and youre invested a lot into frame rates of this title despite not owning an Xbox One or PS4

People are arguing about the game's graphics? That's a surprise. What room is there to argue about? The game looks good, like.... really good. I don't think you have to worry about what other people are saying. I haven't played the demos, but it is likely good.

Also, I don't agree on console makers just making an more updated mid gen console. I bet a lot of people would not want to buy another version of their consoles

nope, they are not open world, no giant monsters, no boss fights, no cool spells. Only your soldiers to shoot at. Its segnificantley less demanding than FF15

Well they are game consoles. They run a gen then get replaced. If you want the best you can get then build a pc. Imo my ps4 and xbone games look fantastic and I'm sure final fantasy will run great and look good enough. I would think they did some sort of scaling to make it not so demanding on the system.

How is the console's fault considering the game started as a Ps3 developed title?
