After the Wii -> Wii U, nintendo should have learned.

I refuse to belive it.

The name shown to the public will be NEX though according to the post, NEX is a very marketable name if true, it can stand for Nintendo Extra in the same NES stands for Nintendo Entertainment System, most people just call the latter the NES. 

I would like the name more if it was Nintendo's tenth console or if it was the tenth gen, like a stylized version of "Nintendo Entertainment Ten" but it just seems so unfitting...

Sounds a bit fake. But anyway, he did say that they will announce the console this month, so we should know if it's fake or not very soon at least.

Why would developers go out of their way to prove they're legit and to leak stuff they are not supposed to leak? What's for them to gain?
If you've got so much free time, use it to make the game better!!

Violating a NDA is stupid as fuck.

The only reasons to violate one regarding something so unimportant as a console -- trolling, bragging, or controlled PR leaks.

Probably a bit of feeding their ego and a bit of not being able to keep a secret and dying to tell people.

But as sabvre42 said, violating an NDA is stupid as it can lead to termination of your contract or even to them suing you.
