That wouldn't confirm anything. For starters it could just be a lucky guess. And even if the guy did know Nintendo were planning a direct that doesn't prove he knows what would actually be in it (or that he's even telling the truth even if he does).

It could be a lucky guess but usually when Nintendo announces a direct on their website they usually have a summary of what they're going to talk about. So if they list an NX to be a topic then would it still be a lucky guess?

My source told me that it was supposed to be called the "Nintendo Entertainment Tonight"... but they decided to go with "Extra" instead.

Even if all of that is right... I simply refuse to believe the name.

Buy the "Nintendo Extra".
What is it? is it a something extra for my Wii u?

Its not confuseing at all.
After the Wii -> Wii U, nintendo should have learned.

I refuse to belive it.

The name shown to the public will be NEX though according to the post, NEX is a very marketable name if true, it can stand for Nintendo Extra in the same NES stands for Nintendo Entertainment System, most people just call the latter the NES.
