It's weird, I don't know if it's true... how does he know Nintendo's plans 2 months before E3? But I would really like if they went back to a full conference like that. I'm honestly tired ot meaningless Nintendo Directs.

This is usally when they start rehersal 

Events like these are planned and rehearsed a few months in advance, a conference is only likely for new hardware but tbh it may still be better to do their ND approach as those go far more to plan and a conference makes little difference and often leads to leaks a few days before the event.

E3 is still around 2 months away, I dont think that even Nintendo yet have detailed plans about E3.

I'm also under a strict NDA for bla bla bla... I didn't even continue reading after that.

On topic of Nintendo doing a live press conference:
It is very likely that Nintendo will have a live conference. I can also remember Nintendo saying something along the lines that they'd do a press conference if they had hardware to reveal. That was around 2013 before they did their first E3 Nintendo Direct iirc.

I wonder if they will mix the live conference with Nintendo Direct bits sprinkled inbetween or if it will be a pure press conference? Will we get a live "directly to you"?

Yes, I could definitely see mix of live conference and Digital Event.

Reveal in June and launch in November-December... Fallout 4 did that and wow. They managed the hype well. Hopefully Nintendo has the same success with the NX.
