You rather have a new sega console than a nintendo one?

Good to be in the forum, read about you on Gaf and your numbers so i checked it out.
People seem to hate your numbers but they seem pretty reasonable to me tbh so i will keep checking them with a grain of salt but better than nothing.
Its likely a PS4/Xb1 slim. And if it is a PS4k, then most likely it'll play blu-ray in 4k, not games.
Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).
I think something else people may not have thought about as a possibility, is that the new PSVR processing unit may enable 4K video output. So this might be where these rumors about 4K are coming from, but people may be interpreting it wrong.
So in other words, since it has to output 2 images at around 1080p to the HMD, plus another one simultaneously to the TV, then the same chip should be able to process 4k to the TV when VR is not used. Which would enable you to play Youtube, Netflix, or whatever videos at native 4k.
Seems logical but I'm not sure since I dont have deep knowledge on the tech.
Thoughts?
it must be the Wii U 1.5 since all the new Wii u games (after wii u 1.5 releases) will be exclusive to the 1,5
also "1.5" will be the name of it
but that is ok because the regular Wii u owners will be getting a "Links Crossbow Training" remake as it s swan song

Obviously, they don't mean NX since it won't launch this year.

Nope, it's coming Fall of this year. AMD is most likely talking about NX chips.
I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
This news is like 1 year old almost.
AMD have been saying this for ages that they have new semi custom business due to ship in the second half of 2016 (referring to July to December period) which could mean that a new gaming console or other product that requires a semi custom chip will ship in Q4 2016/Q1 2017.
Most say it is NX.

Exactly, they've been saying this for quite some time. And yes, I think it's most likely the NX indeed. :o
Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

Nintendo was ALWAYS with AMD (known as ArtX back in the days before being acquired by ATi) since the Gamecube days so they never really switched ... For their Mac Pro line, Apple hasn't used an Nvidia GPU in over half a decade and the same goes for the MacBook Air. None of Apple's current line up uses Nvidia and none of them feature the latest Nvidia Maxwell GPU architecture! Apple is willing to pay for performance as long as it makes sense. Bottom line is not all Apple cares about since even they use Intel CPUs so even they think cheaper is not always better for quality ... |

If I had to lay odds, I would say there's probably a 90% chance the NX is a key contributor to AMD's projection.
I have a much harder time seeing Nintendo give up the 2017 holiday season to withering Wii U sales.
