One of my favorite games of last gen. Everyone should give this game a try.

Bought the PS3 version; it had some bug or faulty disc problem that made it impossible to finish so I never completed it. Bought the PC version last year but still haven't gotten around to actually finishing it. But, yes, it's a truly fantastic game! Original and entertaining gameplay, great music, good learning curve and neat research bit, I also like the compatibility system with characters and various weaknesses and strengths, it adds a lot of depth.

The only thing I'm not overly fond of is the sometimes over-the top anime style making the whole thing less imposing and gloomy than I'd prefer (war sure is cute in this game).

Art book and poster beats the steel book imo, more the art book to be honest.

It was the reason I bought a PS3. I bought it on Steam as well. I'm glad it sold well enough on PC to get a PS4 port.

Yeah the original is cool. I wouldn't call it one of the best games of the generation, but it's very enjoyable.

Unfortunely the sequals aren't anywhere as good as the maps and number of units you have out are greatly reduced. The story gets school teen bs aswell. The 3rd game gets a bit better in story but the gameplay and structure were still limited. Actually both PSP games adopted a monster hunter inspired design based on grind, wich was nothing like the original PS3 release.

First one definitly great. Sequals, not so much.

And the new one they are making... -.- ... completely misses the point.

i can't wait to replay it on ps4! amazing game!!
