Pack 1 because of link but they're both awesome.

On a serious note, it is a really tough decision but I think I favor DLC pack 2. The tracks and vehicles are great but its the spectacular look of the second pack the tips the scale. Seriously, Big Blue, Wild Woods, and ESPECIALLY Ribbon Road are just freaking gorgeous. I mean Ribbon Road looks like it's taking place in a Pixar movie scene. That's not to say the other pack isn't great looking. Hyrule Circuit and Mute City are both real head turners. But when you compare the original release to DLC pack 1 and then compare pack 1, to pack 2, you can really see Nintendo's growing strength with HD development.

1 because of the excite bike track, easily my favorite of the game.

Def pack 1. It had the better character and courses. The courses in pack 2 were so laame.

Easily pack two. My favorite track is in that pack (Wild Woods) and in general I like all the tracks better in pack two.

Naw mawn, 2 reskins + 1 original character < 1 reskin + 2.5 original characters. Courses are mostly subjective so eh, but what exactly was lame about Big Blue, Ribbon Road, Wild Woods, Animal Crossing, etc.?

Personally, I'd take Link over Animal Crossing characters any day. As for the course, they were rather forgetable and overall not enjoyable to me. I really liked the courses in pack 1, especially Hyrule, Excite Bike and Mute City. The SNES rainbow road looked so excellent as well.

Oh, you actually like Excite Bike Arena, well that explains everything!

Pack 2 was epic
