A lot of code names in that leaks O_O I'm not sure what to think of them, I guess I'll read what neogaf thinks on the thread.

Well most game companies like Nintendo address their games as Codenames before they give them an official name. This leaker leaked the codewords for some games and now we are basically trying to figure out wich of those codenames Kirby planetrobotbot was. Because the leak was before Kirby planetrobot was announced

It confirms the NX will launch this year and that Zelda U is going multiplatform, that's it's significance. Apparently (I didn't see this for myself) he also said the Wii U had one unannounced game left, which turned out to be Paper Mario, so Pikmin 4 and Retro's game being NX titles is pretty much confirmed aswell.
| Einsam_Delphin said: Planet Robobot is clearly not a big budget game though. I'll just assume he meant a mainline entry rather than spin-off. |
i think it meant in terms of marketing budget sonce the leak stated how much Nintendo is investing in advertising for 3DS & Wii U.
Triple Deluxe got a pretty solid marketing campaign, i remember seeing commercials for it airing multiple times a day on channels like Disney/Nick/Cartoon Network, i have young kids so when my tv is on during the day, its usually those channels.
also Kirby is big budget when compared to titles like Rumble World or Rhythm Heaven which are the ones listed as small budget.

idk, Disney Art Academy was a new title revealed in that leak as was the Codename Niji for Sun/Moon. Neither of those are vague/obvious.
this does mean that there is 1 more "big" unannounced game for 3DS this year, which some believe to be a Mario Party title with Amiibo integration.

I consider NX for 2016 and multiplat Zelda U to be in that category, same with Retro's game and Pikmin 4 (I mean, you wouldn't announce a brand new AAA game at E3 while also announcing that the consoles successor is launching around the same time. Not to mention two AAA games! Especially not for as low a selling console as the Wii U). The only thing there that is any surprise at all is Paper Mario (which I haven't heard anything about?).
I mean, sure, it's nice to have 100% confirmation, but ehh... it's pretty meh as far as leaks go. I guess that's because reality is pretty meh, but whatcha gonna do

I'm inclined to agree with you on the two first, but aside from that I don't think there's any info that is either concrete enough or enough not-obvious to constitute a major reaction.
I mean, considering it seems like Kirby Planet Robobot could be considered as a big budget core game for all ages (not trying to rip on Kirby here or anything), this leak basically just tells us "the 3DS will get an unannounced game of unspecified budget, target audience and unspecified anything else as well", which to me seems like pretty useless information.
Sorry for being such a debbie downer

You must not have seen the many many debates and flamewars over when NX would release and Zelda U's exclusivity. It's thanks to the above that they're just a distant memory now.

Oh I saw them alright, but people denying the obvious doesn't make it less obvious. I suppose you are right though, it did have a notable impact in that people stopped denying it :-3

ok i see what you mean, one thing that is nice about it is that we know all of the Nintendo published titles releasing for 3DS this year with the exception of 1 unannounced title and potentially small eshop titles so everybody should have their 3DS expectations in check at E3 or future Directs.
