If you buy the first retail edition or Zero then you'll get Guard in the packaging, otherwise you'll have to downlad it from the E-shop separated from SFZ for something like 15$, but SFZ will be 15$ cheaper on the E-shop

Wouldnt be cheaper in the long run if Nintendo would have used a DVD DL for the Wii U as a format, instead of using a custom made 25GB disk?

At the end of the day, most games for the console are under 8GB of memory.

Not really since most of there custom disc are the most popular disc format ment to be played backwards. Plus it gave developer an opition to make bigger games if they wanted. (You have to remember when they were designing it they were getting feed back from EA about what they want in a console.

Misses some bigger games like Xenoblade, Hyrule Warriors, even ACIV & Watch_Dogs (say what you will of the port - they are some of the largest games on the system)



I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

Nah, the list lacks a lot of games. VC games, XCX, Watch dogs...

The size of all Nintendo games for Wii U (except Tropical Freeze for some reason) is wizardry.

I think the lack of spoken dialogue or pre-rendered cutscenes is a major part.

Well I made a quick count on the games that were on the list and landed on approximately 280 GB. As some games were missing I gathered that 10 other "big" games (~20GB each) would fit in the remaining 220 GB.

EDIT: Among the missing games
 Assassin Creed: Black Flag 13GB - Mario Maker 1.4GB - Watch Dogs 18GB - XCX ~25GB - Hyrule Warriors 8GB - Devil's Third 16.4GB - Pokken ~4GB - Mario Tennis ~1GB - Yoshi 7GB.  Together those games are less than 90GB.

EDIT 2: The upcoming games
 SF Zero 7.5GB - M&S Olympic games ~10GB - Paper Mario ~15GB - Zelda U ~25 GB - Tokyo Mirage Sessions - 12GB . Together those games are less than 80GB.

Conclusion: There will still be approximately 50GB left on a 500GB HDD!

EDIT 3: Big games not accounted for: Skylanders, Disney Infinity, Lego games, Batman Origins, Spiderman, Sniper Elite, Sonic, Scribblenauts, CoD and a few more!

This will be over 500GB with EVERY game counted!
