Oh I am ignoring the score and going with the short campaign with not much else do to thing they keep referencing.  I am not buying a one-time playthrough less than 10 hour game for 60 bucks.

Seems odd then. Why would QB rate 15 points so far ahead of the order while they are so similar. COuld be the atached show, but I doubt it since its free for anyone to see. Could be critics regret the score on the order and dont want to do the same, cuz a lot of peoplee enjoyed the order, even me and did as you said and bought for $10.

Or maybe this game is just better.

Honestly Microsoft just cannot win this gen with getting critically-acclaimed games. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe there aren't any exclusives that are above 90.

78 isn't bad by any means but I think I may opt for Dark Souls 3 instead of Quantum Break and get QB later during a sale or something.

Anything over 70 is seen as good for me. So 77 is definitely good. Not outstanding reviews but as I said good.

You are right, there arent!

EDIT: I believe there havent been a single exclusive with a 90+ since 2011.

The main complaint that was said about the order was that it was short, the rest was just minor stuff. Almost all reviews said so and said that it was not worth the mooney for so little. and the same inconclusive ending for a forced sequel or dlc. This game is no diferent, less visual impresive, one or two more hours of gameplay, technical shortcomings that the order did not have, same standart third person shooter. Not saying its not better, but it should not be 15 points better by what the reviews say. Althoug I havent read either reviews, just going by what some say on the thread.

Ah ok. Well yeah is not very full on content but I dont think thats a big problem as long as the content is very good, doesnt seem the case here, but it doesnt look nearly as bland as The Order either, and is not 5/6 hours. 10 is closer to acceptable.

But yeah 10 hours with barely any replay value for 60$ e is not ideal.

they say 8 hours, 10 is with getting  collectables, not really gameplay, so its quite close to the order.

Critics have been harsh this gen, I was optimistic but even when I factored next gen harshness I figured it'll at least be in the 80-85 range. Score doesn't really influence me though, I'm still getting the game day one. Too bad for Remedy and MS though, this isn't going to do them any favors.

So by MC standards...this game is a flop. I think MC standards horse shit tbh, but I figured I would point it out to all the X1 fans that would try to talk down Until Dawn or Dragon Quest Heros based on their MC scores, you know the ones that are higher than QB right now? ;)

In all honesty though, I am interested in it so I will be playing it. That simple, screw MC now and always.

Considering how competitive april and may is, it's gonna be tough if they pull review scores like that.

It's not exactly helping Dark Souls 3 could take away some of that shine and FFXV getting more coverage thanks to the release date. If you need to sell games of this kind you need word of mouth and media help.

If someone asks why I'm using an alt account, CGI and Truckusaurus got me a temp approval until I get my iconic and notorious "kurasakiichimaru" account back. :p

I enjoyed The Order for what it was and was glad that I played through and experienced it.  This gen I made a conscious decision to not buy anything that wasn't going to give me at least 20 hours of gameplay without question.  I got Gamefly specifically for the games I was iffy on, and for the shorter experiences.

Quantum Break is the reason I bought an XB1.  To find out that it is a sub 10 hour game with no real replay value, along with the bland story and some technical difficulties mentioned in other reviews is a great disappointment for me.  Doesn't mean I won't enjoy the game in a few months when its finally my turn in the queue though.
