Forums - Nintendo - Wiiware launches in Japan with nine games

ugh, pay for content in FF:CC? Say it aint so, say it aint so.

Also, R-Type looks a lot crappier than I thought it was. I thought it was a full fledged shmup. But from the looks of it, it's just either a 2 minute game or a 5 minute game to get a high score.

boooo.

So far, I'm pretty disappointed.

I can´t wait for Wiiware.

They're supposed to go for $20 USD, so yes. I know prices usually get inflated overseas, but all the way to £20 is preposterous and I'm certain that's not correct. Heck, I personally find £13 overpriced, but it's at least more reasonable. £10.99 sounds a lot nicer and fairer.

Also: "I wonder what the top selling game will be".

Hello, Mario game? Obviously will sell the best. It's only in there to draw attention to WiiWare, anyways.

I have seen them at £20 myself, I think Zavvi has them at that (used to be virgin megastores) and I have seen them for £18 in a couple of Game stores.

I asked in a third Game store if the price had been lowered because they had it at £15, and the guy said it should be £15 in them all, so i suspect a bit of tomfoolery in the first two Game stores.

The online option using a credit card is £14, and £15 is the retail price (not sure why the extra £1 is added, extra profit for the stores i suppose)
In WHSmith I have seen them for £13, and supermarkets are usually cheap too, so they would probably have it about £13-14.

If the cards you buy in store are $20, how much is it for you over there (waves) to purchase them with a credit card?
