Forums - Gaming - Blizzard To Remove Tracer Pose From Overwatch Due To “Sex Symbol” Complaints

I'd understand if it was every female character in the game but it isn't. There is nothing wrong with characters expressing sexuality, Blizzard should hold their ground on this one.

Prays no one clocks on to to how hot Nathan Drake is in the new Uncharted and force Naughty Dog into buttoning up his shirt.

You are right there is nothing wrong with every character expressing sexuality but there is something to say that not every character needs to express sexuality as well. Blizzard made a decision that this character does not need to express sexuality because just maybe they feel its not correct for the feel they want.  Instead of gamer supporting this and their explanation, the only thing they see is their own opinion.

Nothing about this comes across as sexual to me. People have butts and sometimes look over their shoulders at things. Just silly.

Interesting new pose from Blizzard and definitely more inline with Tracer background. I guess Blizzard really did change the pose based on what they believe it should be from her character profile instead of all the internet nerd rage.

Did Blizzard invent this whole controversy for publicity?  Take a look at the replacement:

If it were the case, that's what I'd call making a statement.

Just thinking out loud, it's probably a covert "F%*# YOU" to that one complainer.  Then again, let's see a pose based on my avatar.

My thoughts exactly, lol.

the truly ironic thing is that feminists don't realise that in doing these things they are oppressing women who have the characteristics they are trying to erase from media

what does this complaint say about women who might look like character and have behaviors similar to ones she has? does that instantly just render them down to bland sex symbols also?

or is it perhaps possible for a human to be sexual along with other attributes?

feminism has actually gotten to the point now where it is actively oppressing women lol
